Boyle Launches New Website with Local Data on Impact of Trump’s Cost of Living Crisis
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02), Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, launched a new public tool with local data showing how rising costs are affecting families in congressional districts nationwide.
“Donald Trump promised to lower prices on day one. He lied,” said Ranking Member Boyle. “Our new tool shows what families are facing right now. Costs are rising, and Trump’s tariffs are making it worse. Instead of fixing the problem, Republicans passed a so-called ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ that made historic cuts to health care and food assistance to fund more tax breaks for billionaires. Working families deserve policies that bring costs down.”
The new website shows district- and state-level data on the consequences of Trump’s tariff taxes and Republicans’ Big Ugly Law. The site also includes local data on major household expenses, including groceries, housing, health care, electricity, and child care.
