Boyle Statement on December 2024 Jobs Report

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle, Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that nonfarm payroll employment increased by 256,000 jobs in December:

"President Biden and House Democrats have delivered 16.6 million new jobs by investing in America’s workers and rebuilding our economy from the ground up. Republicans, on the other hand, are focused on enriching their billionaire donors with a $4.6 trillion tax cut that would leave hardworking families struggling even more.

Americans deserve a government that stands with them. House Democrats are committed to building an economy that works for everyone—not just the wealthiest few."
