Boyle Statement on December 2025 PCE Inflation Data
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle, Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) reported an annual personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index of 2.9 percent for December 2025:
“Donald Trump promised American families he would lower their cost of living. Instead, prices remain high while he and his allies in Congress delivered massive tax breaks for billionaires.
Trump and his Republican lackeys have done nothing to address the cost-of-living crisis facing working families, and instead of helping they’ve made things worse by imposing new tariff taxes and kicking millions off their health care.”
