Boyle Statement on February PCE Report

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle, Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index data showed a decline in February:

"Today's PCE report is good news. It confirms that inflation continues to decline as we transition from a rapid post-COVID recovery to steady and stable economic growth. The last thing we need right now is for MAGA brinkmanship over the debt ceiling to cause a global economic crisis."
