Boyle Statement on July 2025 Fed Interest Rate Decision
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02), Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) announced it would be maintaining the current interest rate target range:
“Americans are still waiting for President Trump to take real action on the cost of living. Instead of helping, he’s making things worse. His Big Ugly Law forces families to pay more for health care and food, all to give billionaires another round of tax breaks. If President Trump actually wants lower interest rates, instead of attacking the Fed Chair, he should put an end to his reckless economic agenda and stop his costly trade wars.”
