Boyle Statement on May 2025 Jobs Report

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle, Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that nonfarm payroll employment increased by 139,000 jobs in May:

“Middle-class families can’t afford the chaos being caused by Donald Trump’s disastrous economic agenda. Hardworking people across America are wondering where their next paycheck will come from, but Trump couldn’t care less about the consequences of his actions. He’d rather kick 16 million people off their health care so he can give trillions in tax breaks to his billionaire donors.”
