Boyle Statement on November 2025 Jobs Report
WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02), Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that nonfarm payroll employment decreased by 105,000 jobs in October and increased by 64,000 jobs in November, while the unemployment rate ticked up to 4.6 percent:
“Trump’s tariffs — his national sales tax — are further weakening the job market while driving prices higher for families.
On top of fewer jobs and higher costs, Republicans’ massive $1 trillion cut to health care, combined with their refusal to extend Affordable Care Act tax credits, will rip coverage away from millions of Americans and raise costs for millions more.
This administration’s economic agenda is clear: billionaires win, and everyone else pays the price.”
