Boyle Statement on Republican Health Care Scheme

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02), Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, issued the following statement in response to House Republicans’ so-called health care “plan”:

“At the last possible moment, Republicans have delivered a painfully transparent attempt to pretend they care about solving the health care crisis they created. Republicans already showed us their real plan when they chose to kick 15 million Americans off their health care to fund tax breaks for Trump’s billionaire donors.

If Republicans were serious about solving this crisis, they’d work with Democrats to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits and prevent health care costs from rising for tens of millions of Americans.”
