“Today, millions of Americans are being forced to make impossible choices because of the Republican health care crisis. Families across the country will pay double or triple what they did before — or lose their coverage altogether. That’s because Republicans continue to block the extension of Affordable Care Act tax credits and passed the largest health care cuts in American history to pay for billionaire tax breaks.

Americans are paying the price while Republicans keep the government shut down instead of helping families afford health care. Every American deserves affordable, quality coverage — not higher costs, fewer options, or the loss of coverage altogether. I’ll keep fighting to reopen the government, lower costs, and protect the health care every family deserves.”
