NEW REPORT: Experts and Leaders Agree – The Country and American Families Need the Build Back Better Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the House Budget Committee released a report highlighting statements from leading economists, advocates, and experts on the need for the Build Back Better Act.

The report underscores the transformational effects of the Build Back Better Act’s crucial investments in family care, health care, and climate solutions. These investments will lower costs and cut taxes for working families, create millions of good-paying jobs, and strengthen our nation’s economy.  

“Those who oppose the Build Back Better agenda either underestimate the hardship facing families and communities across the country or just don’t care,” said Chairman Yarmuth. “Economists and experts are clear: if we want a full and equitable recovery and a better future for American families, we need the Build Back Better Act.  

“The Build Back Better Act’s transformative and fully paid for investments in family care, health care, and climate solutions will give millions of families a better shot at a more secure future by ensuring our economy works for everyone – not just those at the top.” 

The report includes statements from leading voices including Nobel prize-winning economists, former and present Treasury Secretaries, health care advocates, small business leaders, public policy experts, and more.
