Yarmuth Statement on CBO Score of Senate Trumpcare Bill

Washington, D.C.—Today Kentucky Congressman John Yarmuth, Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, issued the following statement on the Congressional Budget Office’s score of the Senate Trumpcare bill:

“For the fourth time, the Congressional Budget Office has issued a stark warning: Trumpcare will leave millions without insurance, drive up out-of-pocket costs, and gut critical protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions.  The consequences  are clear and devastating. For the sake of the millions of people whose health is on the line, I implore my Senate colleagues to defeat this inhumane legislation.”
