Boyle Slams Senate Republicans for Confirming Radical OMB Director Russell Vought

WASHINGTON, DC – Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle (PA-02), Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Senate confirmed Russell Vought as Director of the Office of Management and Budget:

“Senate Republicans have once again shown they are nothing more than spineless enablers of the most extreme forces in their party. By confirming Russell Vought—an architect of Project 2025—they have empowered someone whose sole mission is to impose a radical right-wing agenda on the American people. Instead of standing up for their constituents, they have rubber-stamped a dangerous individual who will help Donald Trump ignore Congress’s authority and illegally dismantle critical programs that middle-class Americans rely on.
