Boyle (PA-02), Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement in response to the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office’s (GAO) legal opinion concluding that President Trump illegally withheld funding for lifesaving grants at the National Institutes of Health. This follows Ranking Member Boyle’s request in March for a GAO investigation into the Trump administration’s illegal funding freezes.
