Chairman Yarmuth Releases 2021 Year-End Report

Washington, D.C.— Today the House Budget Committee and Chairman John Yarmuth released a 2021 Year-End Report and an accompanying video highlighting the Committee’s work over the last year.

“From spearheading the American Rescue Plan and the Build Back Better Act to passing landmark reforms to protect Congress’ constitutional power of the purse, the Members and staff of the House Budget Committee have worked tirelessly on behalf of the American people,” Chairman John Yarmuth said. “It has been my honor to lead the Committee this year, through unprecedented challenges and historic successes alike.

“Without question, our top priority next year will be enacting the Build Back Better Act and I will ensure that the Budget Committee does everything we can to support this critically important effort. I am excited about the important work ahead of us, and I look forward to working alongside our Committee members, House Leadership, the Biden-Harris Administration, and all of my colleagues as we move our nation forward.”
