Today, Pennsylvania Congressman Brendan F. Boyle, incoming Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee, released the following statement after the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that nonfarm payroll employment increased by 223,000 in December and the unemployment rate, at 3.5 percent, is back to pre-pandemic levels.
